ReviewBoost ("we", "us", "our", "the Service") provides a QR code-based review collection platform that helps businesses gather customer feedback and Google reviews, with the assistance of AI-generated review suggestions. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use our Service, whether as a registered business ("Business User") or as a customer scanning a review QR code ("End Customer").

When an end customer selects a star rating, the Service may send limited, non-identifying information — such as the business name, business category, city, and the selected star rating — to third-party AI providers (which may include Google Gemini, xAI Grok, and Anthropic Claude) to generate review text suggestions.
No personally identifiable information about the end customer (name, email, phone, IP address) is sent to these AI providers. Generated suggestions may be cached and reused for the same business and star rating combination to reduce processing and improve performance. We do not control how these third-party AI providers process data on their end beyond what is necessary to generate the requested text, and their own privacy policies may apply to that processing.

All payments for subscription plans are processed through Razorpay, a third-party payment gateway. We do not store your full card, UPI, or banking details on our servers. We retain records of payment amount, plan, duration, status, and a Razorpay-issued transaction reference for accounting and support purposes. We retain Business User account information for as long as the account remains active, and for a reasonable period thereafter to comply with legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. Review data (star ratings, review text, AI suggestions, device/IP metadata) submitted by end customers is retained to maintain the Business User's review history and analytics dashboard. If a Business User account is deleted, associated business data and QR codes are deactivated, though anonymized or aggregated statistics may be retained.
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction, including password hashing, encrypted storage of sensitive configuration values (such as SMTP credentials), and access controls on administrative functions. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
